Kaye Potten, PhD, is co-founder of Camp Encourage, a highly acclaimed overnight camp for children with autism spectrum disorders. She currently works as a behavior and autism specialist for the Lee’s Summit School District in Missouri where she supports students from preschool to 12th grade. She formerly served as director of special programs for the Autism Asperger Resource Center, Kansas City, KS.
Kaye is a popular speaker on behavior management topics and workshops and conferences across the country. Her background includes more than 15 years as a classroom teacher, special educator and behavior specialist. Kaye earned a Ph.D. in Special Education, Autism & Behavioral Disorders, from the University of Kansas.
