Laura A. Riffel, Ph.D. is director of Behavior Doctor Seminars which serves as a resource center for educators, parents, pediatricians, transportation providers, daycare providers, social workers, and psychologists. She is the author of Positive Behavior Support at the Secondary “Targeted Group” Level and Positive Behavior Support at the Tertiary Level, both published by Corwin.
For more than 35 years, Laura taught children from preschool through adults in regular and special education settings. She has run a statewide program for children with behaviors that were impeding learning in the classrooms and a day program for children with severe behaviors.
Laura started and maintained the National Technical Assistance center website on Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports from 1999 to May 2012. She has trained thousands of people around the world on data-based decision-making and having fun changing behavior in the classroom.
